The actress, who enjoys raw guavas, asked the seller for the price, and when she gave her Rs 200, telling her to keep the change, the woman returned two more guavas before the traffic light changed. Priyanka was struck by the seller’s refusal to accept charity and her unwavering hard work.
Sharing the experience on Instagram, Priyanka wrote, “While driving to Visakhapatnam Airport, I saw a woman selling guavas. I love raw guavas, so I asked the price, and she said Rs 150. I gave her Rs 200 and told her to keep the change. She sold guavas for a living. However, before the traffic light changed, she returned and handed me two more guavas. She didn’t want charity. She was a hardworking woman.”
