Stylish star Allu Arjun has made a generous contribution of ₹25 lakh to the Kerala Chief Minister’s Relief Fund in response to the devastating landslide in Wayanad, Kerala. Icon Star, known for his philanthropic efforts, expressed deep sorrow over the tragedy and pledged the amount to support the rehabilitation efforts in the affected region.
In a heartfelt statement, Allu Arjun said, “I am deeply saddened by the recent landslide in Wayanad. Kerala has always given me so much love, and I want to do my bit by contributing ₹25 lakh to the Kerala CM Relief Fund to support the rehabilitation work. Praying for your safety and strength.”
This act of generosity is part of Allu Arjun’s continued support for disaster relief. In 2020, Allu Arjun donated ₹1.25 crore to the Chief Minister’s Relief Funds of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Kerala during the COVID-19 pandemic. His contributions also include donations for various other disasters: ₹25 lakh for the AP HUD HUD Cyclone, 2018 Kerala Floods, 2015 Chennai Rains, 2018 Titli Cyclone, and 2021 AP Floods; ₹10 lakh for the 2013 Uttarakhand Floods and the 2019 Kalyana Mandapam incident; and support for establishing RO water plants and borewells during the 2018 Titli Cyclone relief efforts.
