Rishab Shetty Wraps Up Shooting for Kantara Chapter 1; Makers Release Grand Making Video

After a rigorous 250-day shoot that lasted more than three years, the much awaited Kantara Chapter 1, the precursor to the popular Kantara, is now complete. In order to commemorate the milestone, Hombale Films released a big creating film that gave viewers an idea of the project’s epic scope and level of commitment.
One of Hombale Films’ most ambitious projects to date is Kantara Chapter 1, which was directed and starred Rishab Shetty. The production company, which is well-known for creating hits like KGF, Salaar, and the first Kantara, has once again gone all out for this show inspired by folklore.
The just made-public making film highlights the unrelenting efforts of a sizable crew traversing difficult terrain and complex sets. The clip demonstrates the painstaking artistry that has gone into realizing Rishab Shetty’s vision, from stunning visuals to intricate production design.
The film’s outstanding technical team includes production designer Vinesh Banglan, who recreates the film’s rich, authentic setting; cinematographer Arvind Kashyap, who captures the mystical world with breathtaking visuals; and composer B. Ajaneesh Loknath, whose soul-stirring music adds depth to the narrative.
Kantara Chapter 1 will be screened in seven languages—Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Bengali, and English—when it opens in theaters around the world on October 2, 2024, allowing it to be seen by a wide audience while remaining faithful to its cultural heritage.
